Properties of Air
- Air is a combination of gases - oxygen fuels combustion
- Air occupies space
- Air has mass
- Air exerts a force called air pressure
- Air can be compressed
- Compressed air is high pressure
- Compressed air wants to return to equilibrium
- Hot air expands, cold air contracts
- When the speed of air is high, the pressure is low (Bernoulli's Principal)
Bernoulli's Principal: the faster air flows, the less pressure it has.
